The C Minor Pentatonic Scale
The Formula of the Scale
The C Minor Pentatonic scale consists of five notes: C (Root), Eb (minor 3rd), F (4th), G (5th), and Bb (minor 7th). When playing this scale on the A, D, and G strings between the third and sixth frets, we use these notes in the following positions:
- C (Root): 3rd fret on the A string
- Eb (minor 3rd): 6th fret on the A string
- F (4th): 3rd fret on the D string
- G (5th): 5th fret on the D string
- Bb (minor 7th): 3rd fret on the G string
By following this pattern, you can play the C Minor Pentatonic scale within the specified fret range.
